About the Bard
Hello, my name is Bill Oakes. I serve as the first librarian of the Freely Given Library. I write Christ-loving Fiction and Non-fiction books and give them away as ebooks. I have been writing since I was 13 years old, and I've been a Christian since I was 12. I am now over 70, so I have lived a lot of what I write about, and enjoy writing and reading books that point to God and Christian principles.
